dff2dsf is an application used to convert .dff audio files, which cannot be tagged, to .dsf files which can be tagged. Note that there is no loss of quality in the conversion process: the conversion is a repackaging not a re-encoding.

• Yate, some other applications and some rippers have started directly tagging DFF files. When repackaging DFF files, dff2dfs will now replicate an ID3 tag if found in the source file. Note that the tagging approach for DFF files is a convention and not a standard as described for DSF files.
